The End of Jurassic Park

The soldiers pulled us into the helicopter. Muldoon, Malcolm, Harding and the children were already inside. Muldoon said that they're going to bomb the island. I surprised. The helicopter flew up and away from the beach. I looked down and I couldn't see the raptors. Hammond wasn't in the helicopter with us. I asked whether Muldoon knew where was Hammond. He said that Hammond was dead. The compys killed him. Oh my .. poor him. I looked out again and saw the young rex was eating the hadrosaur.

Suddenly, there were explosions. Bombs were exploding. The Visitors' Centre was burning and fire was everywhere. Then a soldier spoke to me. He asked me whether I was in charge of Isla Nublar or not. I said no and said nobody was in charge. The helicopter flew across the ocean towards Costa Rica. I looked back once more to Isla Nublar, but I couldn't see anything. Now, I am no need to worry about the lizards at the beach because I already knew where they came from, Jurassic Park.

      Ed Regis was dead, John Hammond was dead, John Arnold was dead, Henry Wu was dead and Dennis Nedry was dead. Many people were dead. Just because the dinosaurs. Sometimes,   people just don't think the consequences. Always thinking about money. This is it guys .. the end of our journey. Don't forget about me ok guys :D ?

The Raptors *...*

Hey guys! I was in Generator Building. Wu told me what to do. I could make the generator started working again but the lights hadn’t come on. Wu said that the power would be on in the Control Room. So I came back to the Control room. When I came back, Tim and Lex were running because of the raptors. I asked Gennaro to take them to the Control Room. I went to the FERTILIZATION room and the raptors were following me. I injected poison from the syringes into some eggs. Then I rolled the eggs towards the raptors and two raptors were dead. The third raptor attacked me and one more time I was too fast to it. I injected it with a syringe of poison and they were all dead. I came back to the Control Room. Tim could make the system back to on again and Gennaro could make the ship came back to Isla Nublar. Ellie and Harding also came back to the Control Room.

Tim showed us the numbers of animals in the park. There were 203 dinosaurs instead of 292! Jurassic Park became under control. They were behaving as they did million years ago. We were waiting the soldiers to come to Isla Nublar. Muldoon suggested us to find the raptors’ nest. I lifted the raptor out of its cage. It ran away towards the forest. I, Ellie, Gennaro and Muldoon were following it. It climbed up onto a rock and disappeared. I climbed too and I was in an enormous underground room. Below me, there were about 30 velociraptors. I kept quiet. I had put the night vision goggles, and I counted the raptors. Ellie said that there’s something strange about them. They play and suddenly they stopped and looked at the wall. I saw them, Ellie was right.

 They began to squeak and ran around excitedly. They ran down the concrete tunnel.  We followed them, they were out on the shore of the Pacific Ocean. We confused. Why did they run down to the ocean? Suddenly, I heard the sound of a ship. I guess the raptors came out because of the ship. I looked at them again and I knew the answer. They wanted to leave! They were behaving like bird and they wanted to migrate! Suddenly, there were several huge helicopters came out and landed on the beach. The soldiers were coming out. They pulled us. Later guys! I wanted to finish my business with them. I won’t be long :D

The Attack :o

Hi ! I was sitting in the land cruiser when suddenly the lights turned off. Of course the cruisers were also stopping. Tim wore the goggles on and said the rex was standing by the fence. Oh my.. the rex know that the fences were turning off. And suddenly, Regis came out from the cruiser and left Tim and Lex behind. I warned them to not moving. The rex picked up the cruiser and Lex fell against a door which opened. The vehicle was going round and round then it fell. Malcolm went out and the rex jumped towards him. Then it kicked the cruiser and I was hit by it. It hurts. Then I heard Tim screamed my name so I climbed down towards them. We've got to get back to the Control Room. And we saw Regis, stood very still like hiding from something. He was save for a while but, the rex attacked again and blood was dripping down from its jaws. Ed Regis was dead.
We ran as fast as we could. We ran and ran until Lex couldn't run anymore. So I picked her up and she slept on my shoulder. We walked until saw a building. We came into it and there was a shed filled with hay food for the animals. I pushed some hay on the floor and laid down and slept.

I woke up at 5 a.m. There were now only 6 hours before the ship reached Costa Rica. I heard Tim and Lex were laughing. They were touching a baby triceratops. I saw a metal box on a wall labelled SAUROPOD MAINTENANCE BUILDING. I was going to find a sensor to tell the people in Control Room where we were. However, it was not working. Tim said we could go on the river, it was closer, faster and saver. He founded a box said INFLATABLE RAFT. There was an inflatable raft, a gas cylinder, a map, a transquillzer gun and the darts.Twenty metres away, the adult rex was asleep under a tree. Suddenly, Lex coughed and the rex woke up. I fired a transquillizer dart to the dinosaur. It roared and opened its huge mouth. It was going to eat us! Then suddenly, it saw the young rex was eating so it turned away. I rowed and rowed and the stopped, but it's still moving because the current was strong.

We were moving to the north. The microceratops were jumping in the branches and suddenly the tyrannosaur showed up, but thank God, its body couldn't get through us. It stopped reaching us and it moved away. The raft went on and we saw dilophosaurs. Thank God one more time. They were dating and weren't looking at us. So we lied down and not moving. We passed them safely. There's a waterfall at the end of the river! I couldn't hold it so we fell. I fell down first into the water. It was so cold :( . Lex fell to the water and she was beside the dinosaur's tail. I could pull her out. I saw a path that went up next to the waterfall. Perhaps were were saver up there. Quietly, I led them up the path.

Soon, we were on a small ledge behind the water. There were metal pipes and a metal door in a concrete wall. I pressed some numbers on the keypad and the door opened. There's a tunnel inside of it. I went through the door but the door closed before I could stop it. I hoped Tim could open it again. It's very dark here. I founded a torch! I saw a small electric car. I had found the way out! How happy I was ^^ . At that moment, a young velociraptor attacked me. However, I was too fast to it B) . I fired the transquillizer gun and it knocked to the ground.

Suddenly the door opened by itself. I asked Tim whether he opened the door or not. He said no. So the power must be off again. I saw the rex was lying. Lex said that it tried to eat Tim. My my my.. I also brought the knocked out velociraptor to prove that they were breeding. I started the electric car and drove as far as I could along the tunnel. The car arrived and stopped near the Visitor's Centre. All of the windows and the door locks were broken. There was a security guard lying dead, I took his walkie talkie and tried to call someone. After I tried for a minute, Ellie answered. Muldoon, the park waden was coming with an injured foot. He said that we had to get the power back on again. I agreed to go to the generator building. I want to go to the generator building first. Wish me luck guys!

The Tour of the Park @.@

Hi guys! Regis took us to a road which came from a garage under the Control Centre. Then, two large vehicles came up from the garage and stopped in front of me. These vehicles didn’t have drivers! Oh they ran on electricity. There’s a computer in each vehicle and it gave information about the park. The vehicles started to move. I saw many dinosaurs in the tour. Then, the vehicles moved to the tyrannosaurs rex area. It’s very big. The T-Rex was eating the goat, it was horrible. After that, we were going to see some sauropods, the plant eating apatosaurs and hadrosaurs. Suddenly, Tim saw a young velociraptor. I was surprised. I wanted to see it but the vehicles couldn’t go back.

                                                      

So, the vehicles kept went towards the south of the island. Then, I saw something strange. There’s a man who was examining a huge animal. It’s about 6 m long with big plates of bone along its back and along its tail were long spikes. Its head was very small and it looked very stupid. Do you guys know what it is? Yes, it’s a stegosaur. Regis said that it was sick. We met Dr. Harding there. Ellie tried to check the stegosaur. She said the stegosaur had been poisoned by the berries. Then, I saw something. I was worried about what I saw. I called Ellie, she was worried too. Those were the pieces of shell from a dinosaur egg. So, the dinosaurs were breeding! That’s impossible. Wu said that dinosaurs couldn’t breed in the park. And those were velociraptor’s egg! Then, Harding called the Control Room. Malcolm asked Arnold to count all animals. The computer said that there were 292 animals in the park! Once, it’s 238 animals and now? And there’re 37 raptors instead of 8! We must find the nests. I asked Dr. Wu whether he used frog DNA to repair the dinosaur DNA. He said that it's possible he did. I was very shocked. The dinosaurs have started to breed.

I came back to the Safari Lodge with the children, Malcolm and Regis. Ellie stayed with Dr. Harding to check the stegosaur. I and Malcolm were in the second vehicle.  It was raining heavily. Suddenly, the two vehicles were stopping. The children said that there’s a ship that was going back to Costa Rica with the velociprators in the back of the ship! We must call the Control Room but we couldn’t. We must come back quickly. Now, I want to try to call the Control Room. I will post later. See you :D !!

The Control Room :]

Hey guys, I’m back ! I went to the Control Room. I passed a large sign saying : NO ENTRY. AUTHORIZED PEOPLE ONLY. Wow, this room must be so important. Regis said that the first floor of this building was controlling the whole island. There was John Arnold, the chief engineer. Arnold was a thin man in a white coat. Then there was Robert Muldoon, the park waden who was a big man. A park waden was a person who looked after all the animals. Regis said that Arnold, Muldoon and Dr. Harding were the important men in Jurassic Park. Dr. Harding was a vet who was looking after a sick animal. He was out in the park.

We all reached a door with a sign on it saying EXTRACTION. Regis wanted to show us how they made the dinosaurs. There was the chief geneticist, Henry Wu. He said that he got the dinosaur DNA from the yellow stones or amber. Inside of it, there’s an insect that already fed on dinosaur’s blood. He also said that they’ve been extracting blood from insects in amber for five years. Then, we went to the bigger room. We saw the Cray XMP supercomputers and they work on the DNA. They used other animal DNA to complete the chain. Wu also took us to the FERTILIZATION room. He told us how the embryos were put into special eggs, the special shells of the eggs and the temperature of the room. Next, we went to the HATCHERY room. The room was hot :(  and there were many rows of eggs. This room was the room where the eggs hatched. I asked when they become adults? Wu said they are becoming adults in two to four years.

We went to the Nursery to find out the new babies. There were many incubators in there. I saw a baby velociraptor. I opened the lid and that little velociraptor jumped into Tim’s arms. Wu said that baby velociraptors were friendly. Dinosaurs couldn’t breed outside the park because they made only female dinosaurs. After that, we all saw the adult raptors. Suddenly, the raptors hit the fence ! They wanted to kill us ! I was very scared and shocked. So did Ellie and the other people.

We came back to the Control Room. Arnold showed us how they controlled Jurassic Park. There’s a huge map on a piece of glass beside the keyboard. He showed us the tyrannosaurs by pressed some keys. He said that the system made sure they couldn’t lose any animal, there were sensors and video cameras. It also counted all the animals. Jurassic Park had 238 animals and 15 species. I was amazed. The system also could tell them if an animal died and find each of the compys. Before I went out, Regis gave us all a baseball cap with the words: JURASSIC PARK. It’s a nice cap ^^ . I wanted to started the tour of the park so I will post another post later, bye guys ;D !

Isla Nublar :D

Hi guys ! I already arrived in Isla Nublar and guess what? It’s amazing! Before I arrived here, Hammond’s plane landed at San Jose, Costa Rica. We got into a small helicopter to fly to the island. The island was 160 km away from here. Another man called Dennis Nedry got on the helicopter too. He was fat and unfriendly and he was a computer expert. He said that he was going to sort out some bugs in the computer system in the island.

After 45 minutes in the helicopter, I saw the island. It had steep sides and there were thick forests. There were also clouds of fog all round the island. The helicopter landed at the northern end of the island. Hammond said that his island was about 12 km long and 5 km wide, the hills were about 600 m high.

Then, I got out of the helicopter. I saw a man wore a baseball cap ran up to us. He introduced himself as Ed Regis, the publicity manager. We all started to walk down the hill toward the south of the island. And suddenly I stopped. I could see a tall, curved tree trunk in the distance. However, it had no leaves and it was taller than all other trees. The tree trunk moved and turned towards me, I’m surprised. I realized that I wasn’t looking at a tree trunk. I was looking at a dinosaur! It’s apatosaur. I couldn’t believe what I saw. How could Hammond make this animal? Then Malcolm asked Hammond whether the dinosaurs were machines or not. Hammond said that no, they were alive. Wow! Then, I went down the hills again and passed a sign which said WELCOME TO JURASSIC PARK. The name of the island was Jurassic Park. I still didn’t understand. Where did Hammond get the DNA of the dinosaurs?



Safari Lodge

Regis showed the Safari Lodge. It’s different. This was like a prison, not a hotel. The tour was about starting in 20 minutes. We met each other again with Malcolm, Regis, Gennaro, Nedry and Hammond in the Visitors’ Centre.  Then, I heard the sound of a helicopter.  I saw a boy who was about 11 years and a girl about 8 years old. They were Tim and Lex Murphy, Hammond’s grandchildren. Tim was wearing glasses and he looked very serious. Lex’s hair was blonde and she was wearing a baseball cap. Tim knew me, he read my book – The Lost World of the Dinosaurs.

We are going to the Control Room now. After dinner, I will tell you about the Control Room. See you guys later :D !

Going to Isla Nublar ..

Hey guys! Ready for adventure ;D ? Today I and Ellie went to Choteau airport to meet Hammond and went to Isla Nublar. Before we went to the airport, the parcel of information about the island arrived in front of my office. It was an interesting island. There were plans of buildings and a map. The map showed that Isla Nublar was long and narrow. There were roads, tunnels and a lake. There was also a Visitors’ Centre in the north and the island was divided into five sections. Between the roads and the sections there were concrete moats and electric fences. Ellie said it’s like a zoo, I agreed. The roads were high up so we could see over the fences and the moats. Everything was enormous! Even there’s a moat which is 9 m wide! Can you guys imagine that? The map also showed that all the buildings in Isla Nublar were made of concrete and had thick walls.         

When we arrived in the airport, we went directly to the plane. There a few people that also were invited by Hammond. Donald Gennaro, the lawyer of InGen Incorporated was already inside the plane. Gennaro was about 30 years old. He was wearing an expensive grey suit and glasses with metal frames. Then, he shook hand with me and Ellie. Honestly, I didn’t like this guy.

Hammond’s plane landed at Dallas airport four hours after it left Choteau. A tall, thin man got on and he was about 35 years old. I think he liked black because everything that he wore was black. Hammond called him ‘Professor’. Oh so he was a professor, but I think he more looked like a rock star. After that, he introduced himself. His name was Ian Malcolm and he did math. I’ve heard about him before. He was a famous mathematician and interested in how the world worked.

Then, an unexpected conversation between Malcolm and Hammond happened.  Malcolm said that he heard that Hammond had a serious problem on his island. Hammond replied angrily that there’s no problem, everything was fine. Malcolm said that the resort wouldn’t work. Hammond was a high tempered man. So he stood up and he went to sit in another part of the plane. I just could sit quietly and watched them.

It’s a long journey to get to Isla Nublar. I tried to read the report for InGen. I didn’t understand so I asked Malcolm. He explained the chaos theory. Then, I understood. Malcolm also said that Isla Nublar will start to go wrong and will continue to go wrong. I hope everything just fine.

Ok guys, I’m very tired and need to have rest. When I arrive in the island, I will post another blog about my experience there. I wish you guys can also come with me to the island. Wish me luck guys :D !!

        Hi ! I'm Alan Grant. I have sun-tanned skin and blue eyes. People usually call me Dr Grant. I am a palaeontologist. I'm studying the fossils of the dinosaurs and other animals that lived long time ago. I worked in Montana, USA. I'm athletic and I like children. I am the author of The Lost World of the Dinosaurs.
        On Wednesday, when I was kneeling on the ground brushing dust away from a tiny bone, a lawyer from EPA came to me. His name is Bob Morris. He asked me about John Hammond. He asked me about his work and what is he doing now in Isla Nublar. So, I told him what I knew. He also asked me about Gennaro.
        After Bob went home, a doctor at Columbia University sent me a fax. I was surprised. She sent me a fax of an X-ray of a lizard who lived more than 200 million years ago. I think it's a compsognathus. I read the note which came with the X-ray and it said that a lizard found on Cabo Blanco Beach in Costa Rica. This lizard attacked a 10-year-old girl and also babies. Hmm .. very confusing right? There hasn't been a lizard like this on Earth for more than million years. And now, that lizard shown up. There has been something wrong. What must I do?
        And after that, there’s a call from John Hammond. Hammond is a millionaire. He is the owner of InGen Incorporated. He has two grandchildren and I hope can meet them. He very interested in dinosaurs. He gives money to people doing research on dinosaurs. That’s enough form introducing him.

        He asked me about Bob, the lawyer. He also invited me to his island near Costa Rica, called Isla Nublar. He bought the island 10 years ago. He also invited my friend, Dr. Ellie Sattler. Oh I’m sorry, I forgot to introduce her. Ellie is a paleobotanist who studies plants from the time of dinosaurs. She's nice and she also helps me study the fossils. Hammond said Isla Nublar is going to be a resort and animal park. Hammond pay I and Ellie to be his consultants, he'd like our opinion about his island and will pay us $60 000 each. That much money can pay for our research for the next two years! So I'm coming. He said that he'll be waiting us in Choteau airport at 5 p.m. tomorrow evening. I can’t wait to come to Isla Nublar. However, how about the lizard? How do you guys think? Hmm .. I think I will go to Isla Nublar first then finish that problem. Beside, Isla Nublar is near Costa Rica right :D ? I will take some pictures there and upload them here so you guys can see them ;) . I am very excited and I hope everything just gonna be fine :)
